Hanahana is a Japanese Teppanyaki restaurant situated on Bath Lane, close to Newcastle’s Chinatown. The restaurant comprises eight teppanyaki grill stations where diners sit and watch the theatre as the skilled Teppanyaki chefs go to work. You can go a la carte here but most will choose one of the various set meals and banquets. Alternatively, Hanahana offers a choice of sushi and sashimi.
Downstairs you’ll find a karaoke room which can seat up to 50. You need to book in advance for the karaoke on weekdays but at weekends it’s always open if you fancy a post-prandial song or two. Hanahana is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and has a children’s menu available on request.
My husband booked a table for last night valentines night, we had never been before, had the best time ever the entertainment with the chefs was a night out in itself, i tried the egg catching was hopeless at it hahaha, the food was outstanding, i cant believe I've never visited this restaurant before we will defo be visiting again brilliant
